NOW IN MRRN

Saisons.

Four seasons. Four signs. Mürren changes four times a year. Not completely. But fundamentally.

FIELD NOTE

A village in between.

Not simply in the mountains, but between them. Wedged between two railways and two streams, balanced on a terrace known as the Fluh, the village opens onto an arena of rock and sky.

INSTITUTIONS

Institute for Total Accessibility

How much access can a place absorb before the place itself disappears? The Institute for Total Accessibility studies the complete accessibility of the Alps. Its programmes propose systems for mobility, connectivity, climate, silence and planetary transit. Each one begins with a reasonable question and follows it slightly too far.
