For looking out.
A drawing for a hall at the Sportchalet receives a note: “For looking out.” The idea leaves the paper and gains altitude. PINK FLAMINGO becomes the fleet’s gala ship. A place for celebrations, gatherings, parties and ceremonies that carries its view with it.
A step outside.
A compact gondola hangs beneath the pink envelope. It includes a small open promenade deck. Step outside, stand still and look. The terrace keeps the proportions of the sister ship. The space above it may be rather larger.
The occasion comes along.
By day, the ship glides towards the Schilthorn. In the evening, the valley beneath it grows dark. A celebration gains a different horizon; a ceremony finds its own distance from everyday life. Back at the mooring, the path leads up to the Sportchalet.
One home port.
The home port is MRRN Aérodrome, at the cliff edge beside the Sportchalet Mürren. The fleet shares the tasks. The path back to the village remains short.
