HENRY DUNANT · The ambulance ship · MRRN Air Ways

A task becomes a ship.

MULE brings supplies. A person who needs medical assistance requires a different kind of space. The compact design therefore becomes a gondola of its own: fitted out for care on the journey, with a place for someone to accompany the patient.

A name in remembrance.

HENRY DUNANT carries the name of the Swiss humanitarian pioneer as a tribute. At its heart is a simple idea: help begins with the person who needs it. Within the MRRN world, the name expresses a principle, not membership of a real aid organisation.

Being ready.

The ambulance ship belongs to the compact working fleet of MRRN Air Ways. Its medical gondola distinguishes it from MULE and TÄCHI. White and red define its appearance. The tail keeps the white Swiss cross on red. At the home port, readiness is part of the operation.

One home port.

The home port is MRRN Aérodrome, at the cliff edge beside the Sportchalet Mürren. The fleet shares the tasks. The path back to the village remains short.
