A small part.
Sometimes a remote side valley is missing only a small spare part. It fits in a pocket. Getting it there still calls for a connection of its own. This task gives rise to MULE: compact, stocky and fitted out for work. A tractor among airships.
Built to get things done.
The orange envelope, dark belly and small cargo gondola make MULE distinctive. A loading hatch, winch and skids are part of its equipment. It carries provisions, materials, spare parts and other things whose importance at the destination often exceeds their weight.
The weather has a say.
MULE keeps the supply task in view even in difficult conditions. Whether to fly remains a matter of weather windows, route and sound judgement. Sometimes the cargo is loaded, and then everyone waits. Reliability includes that too.

One home port.
The home port is MRRN Aérodrome, at the cliff edge beside the Sportchalet Mürren. The fleet shares the tasks. The path back to the village remains short.
